The UK's premier optical show celebrates its 40 birthday at the NEC

Optrafair has opened the doors on its 40th anniversary event at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

Crowds gathered outside for the UK’s premier optical event which, over three days (April 14-16), will showcase all aspects of the optical market.

The free to attend show boast exhibitors from all sectors of the market along with a mass of Continuing Education and Training, business and contact lens lectures, a catwalk show and interactive sessions.

To mark the 40th anniversary of Optrafair the show’s owner, the Federation of Manufacturing Opticians, will be hosting a central FMO bar for networking and catching up with colleagues. Chairman Andy Yorke said: ‘Optrafair has united the British opticalindustry since 1978, and entirecommunity of practitioners, suppliers and educators have chosen Optrafair to help eyecareprofessionals expand their knowledge through CET, ground-breaking new products and services to grow their businesses.’
