Trade shows form European alliance

British and German optical trade shows, Optrafair and Opti Munich, have signed a deal which organisers said would help strengthen both events.

Optrafair partners, the Federation of Manufacturing Opticians (FMO) and MA Exhibitions said the alliance would help forge closer links and additional promotion of both events to potential exhibitors and visitors.

David Owen, MD of Pattern, the UK agents for Opti organiser GMH said: ‘GMH is historically an exhibition organiser for trade associations in their selected industries and sees a great fit and synergy with Optrafair. Opti is particularly interested in the technical prowess of opticians in the UK market and sees this co-operation as very beneficial.’
