No7 reports 20% increase in number of patients using Orthokeratology lenses

Growth of more than 20% in numbers of patients fitted with Orthokeratology lenses in the past year has been reported by No7 Contact Lenses. The company said this reflected the growing international clinical evidence for use of this modality of vision correction for myopia control and predicted a similar trend for 2017.

‘There is no indication we are going to see any kind of slowdown in demand. Practitioners are keen to differentiate themselves and Ortho-k is a fantastic means to achieve this. It also builds practice loyalty, as many of our customers are finding. Fitting Ortho-k lenses is not complex and yet brings tremendous rewards,’ said Danny Pepper, No7 sales and marketing manager.
