Oxsight announces its global launch of smart glasses

​Global launch for Oxsight smart specs designed to halt isolation among the visually impaired

Oxsight, a company that has developed a range of smart glasses for visually impaired people, celebrated its global launch on February 28.

The event was hosted by Dave Steele and included a talk from technology journalist Rob Waugh and guest of honour Professor Xinghuai Sun, an expert on ophthalmology and vision science. Along with Professor Monica Chaudhary, a low vision expert from Ansal University in India, the panel discussed the major challenges facing low vision patients and how technology can help them.

Guests were able to try out the Oxsight smart glasses and speak to existing users to see how they work.
