CooperVision’s Clariti 1 Day contact lens has reached plastic neutral status in the US

CooperVision’s Clariti 1 Day contact lens has reached plastic neutral status in the US following the establishment of a partnership with specialist recycling company Plastic Bank.

CooperCompanies, the parent company of CooperVision, announced the news via its first environmental, social and governance report (ESG).

The report highlighted other environmental milestones for the company, including a move to 100% renewable electricity across its key facilities in the UK and New York.

President and CEO of CooperCompanies, Al White, said: ‘We are proud of our ESG progress and are committed to accomplishing more.’
