Pop-up show draws crowds

The Great British Eyewear Show took place in Birmingham on October 18

More than 200 eye care professionals descended on Birmingham’s gritty Digbeth for the first Great British Eyewear Show organised by British designer and manufacturer, House of Tom Davies.

The event, held at the trendy industrial venue, The Custard Factory, played host to more than 20 brands, including household names such as Booth & Bruce, Face a Face and l.a.Eyeworks, alongside new edgy labels including Hapter and Covrt Project.

An education stream ran simultaneously, where delegates could learn how to make acetate plates, dispense frames for different face shapes and style women over the age of 45 more effectively.
