Professor Usha Chakravarthy to deliver talk on multimodal imaging at Optrafair

Ophthalmologist Professor Usha Chakravarthy will be delivering a talk on how multimodal imaging can increase an optometrist’s confidence at this year’s Optrafair (April 1-3).

Chakravarthy is at the forefront of pioneering research including the NICOLA study which aims to help shape future government healthcare policies by looking at the effects of aging on the eyes.

She said: ‘I will discuss the interpretation of retinal pathology using the latest fundus and OCT imaging techniques and how patients can be managed through post-treatment in the community care setting.’

The lecture will be on Optrafair’s main stage on Sunday April 2 at 11:45am and is worth one CET point.
