Refunds offered on smart glasses

Owners of Focals by North have been told that they would be automatically refunded

Owners of Focals by North have been told that they would be automatically refunded as their smart glasses stopped working on August 28.

North was acquired by Google in July for an undisclosed amount, a move thought to help Google’s help Google investment in its ‘hardware efforts and ambient computing future.’

At the time, North noted it would discontinue production and end support for its Focals range, meaning those who purchased the frames would soon not be able to use them.
