Ørgreen partners with Hoya Vision Care on its Yuniku eyewear platform
Danish eyewear brand Ørgreen has become the latest producer to partner with Hoya Vision Care on its Yuniku bespoke eyewear platform.
The Scandinavian company now offers a collection of 12 frames that can be tailored to the exact facial dimensions of each patient. Two high resolution cameras are used to measure the facial features, while software calculates the optimum position of the lenses within a bespoke frame. The data is then processed for production of a 3D printed frame.
‘We keep a close eye on industry developments and saw Yuniku as truly ahead of its time. We’re starting at a high level but we haven’t even scratched the surface in terms of possibilities,’ said company founder Henrik Ørgreen.
