RNIB to appoint Sally Harvey as acting CEO

Charity the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) has named managing director for RNIB Places, Sally Harvey, as its acting CEO.

She will take up the post following the retirement of current CEO Lesley-Anne Alexander in October this year.

Harvey said: ‘I’m honoured to be leading the RNIB group of charities from October as acting chief executive during an exciting and rewarding time. I’m looking forward to building on Lesley-Anne ‘s excellent work and collaborating with the sector to ensure we are providing the best possible services for people with sight loss.’
