Tried and tested: Rock Optika Allez Allez

Iconic styling and function come together for the sartorial leisure cyclist

Delve deep in the archive of cycling sunglasses and you will find icons like Fausto Coppi, Tom Simpson and Jacques Anquetil in classic tortoiseshell, pantos and aviator styles, drinking coffee and generally looking uber-cool.

Rock Optika felt something was missing in today’s cycling eyewear division where function has taken over style. It consulted with pro and amateur cyclists to produce styles that look good off the bike and still perform on it: Rock Racing Club was born.

From the sartorial end of RRC is Allez Allez, a sunglass all about classic styling in quality materials. It is hand crafted in the Jura region of France but features enough functionality for the Sunday café rider. Optician put the model, named after the cry of French cycling fans, to the test.
