Safilens: Natural healing

Safilens has launched Drop Therapeutic, a preservative-free solution with protective action for the corneal epithelium.

The drops have been designed to promote the natural repair processes of the eye, contributing to the stability of the ocular surface by regulating its pH and osmolarity. It also restores ocular metabolic activity and tear film turnover, promoting the wettability of the ocular surface.

Containing riboflavin (vitamin B2) and vitamin E-TPGS, the new drops provide the necessary nutrients, and acts as a natural antioxidant against damage from UV rays and high energy visible light (HEV light).

Drop Therapeutic is also approved for contact lens wearers, with indications including use with Otho-K and scleral lenses, as well as sufferers of computer vision syndrome.
