Staff at Scope raised €12,500 at a charity golf tournament, which has been matched by the company raising a total of €25,000 for ChildVision.

The money will be used to help fund the charity’s services for blind and partially sighted children in Ireland at its education and therapy centre.

ChildVision provides clinical psychological services, support for early intervention, therapies and nursing, and residential services.

Amie Hynes-Fitzpatrick, corporate social responsibility lead at Scope, said: ‘We are proud to be partnering with ChildVision this year. We are committed to championing children’s rights, with a specific focus on blindness and partially sighted children. The work that ChildVision does is innovative, healthcare professional-led, and dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families. These are values that align closely to Scope’s ethos.’
