Japanese contact lens group SEED has launched its daily disposable contact lens 1dayPure moisture into the UK and Irish market.
It followed the company’s acquisition of UltraVision CLPL in April last year, while the brand was already available in Asia and a large portion of Europe.
The company said its lens contained a natural moisturising agent extracted from seaweeds such as kelp or wakame, called Alginic Acid, and manufactured using SEED’s exclusive SEED Ionic Bond (SIB) material. SIB contained both positive and negative ions, resulting in electrical stability and keeping dust and impurities away from the lens.
