Selfridges has launched the largest eyewear space in the UK

Selfridges has launched the largest eyewear space ever to be seen in the UK in its London store.

The space is part of a revamp and is now 4,000 square feet (370 square metres) and offers 2,200 eyewear styles from 50 different brands, with two thirds being sunglasses.

In a statement, the department store said: ‘Sixteen of these brands are new to Selfridges, including a cluster of brands exclusive to the store such as Fak by Fak and Project Produkt. Several brands such as Grey Ant, Retrosuperfuture, and Thiery Lasry have created exclusive styles within their collections especially for Selfridges.’

The optical space offers optometrist services using state of the art equipment and there is a dedicated area for Chanel eyewear, which showcases a selection of frames and sunglasses.
