Silmo has announced its intention to go ahead from September 24-27 in Paris after the French government revealed a plan to ease lockdown measures.

Organisers noted that from June 30 there would be no maximal capacity for exhibitions, as long as health measures were observed.

Amélie Morel, chair of Silmo Paris, said: ‘We can’t wait to amaze you once again with the talent of these enthusiastic professionals. We can’t wait to enjoy the delight of discovery, the opportunity for encounters and the conviviality of discussions. It is clear that all the technology in the world will never replace the power and emotion of a physical event.’
