Specsavers provides profession with over 2,000 points

Over 2,000 CET points were earned on the Specsavers Optrafair CET stand

Over 2,000 CET points were earned by hundreds of optometrists, contact lens opticians and dispensing opticians from all parts of the sector on the Specsavers stand during Optrafair recently.

Victoria Taylor, head of professional recruitment and retention, said: ‘It was fantastic to meet so many people who were interested in taking part in the CET, and keen to find out more about life at Specsavers.’

All sessions apart from quizzes offered three interactive points, with the most popular being the peer discussion, ‘Kids give me a headache!’ which was open to OOs and DOs, and ‘Oculoplastics: what advice should we give?’ The sessions were led and facilitated by Specsavers professional advancement team members, most of whom are heads of enhanced optical services and joint venture partners.
