Station Road Opticians in Cheadle celebrates first year in business
Station Road Opticians in Cheadle celebrated its first year in business with a birthday party.
The practice invited its patients to the event, which featured an American police car straight from the set of the new Joker film that children could sit inside, birthday balloons that they could take home, ‘roaring renditions’ of the song Happy Birthday to You performed and a glass of fizz for the adults in attendance to toast with.
Deepak Oberai, proprietary optician, said: ‘The first year in business can be a tough one. Although [it was] hard work, it was most enjoyable and it felt really good to celebrate turning one last week!’
