Stuart Burn becomes vice chair of FMO

Stuart Burn has been appointed vice chair of the Federation of Manufacturing Opticians (FMO).

Burn, managing director of optical lender Performance Finance, has replaced former vice chair Krysten Williams, who has become head of global marketing and education at Heidelberg.

Burn said: ‘It is an incredible honour to be appointed vice chairman of the FMO and I hope to continue the sterling work that my predecessors have started. The FMO is currently facing challenges it has not seen in its 100-year history and I am sure it will draw on the strength of its membership and its very capable board to meet those challenges head on.’
