Victim of the nerve agent Novichok, Dawn Sturgess, could have been contaminated via sunglasses she wore, according to reports by The Sun newspaper.

Sturgess, who died on Sunday, reportedly found the sunglasses in Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Salisbury while drinking there with her partner, Charlie Rowley, who was also poisoned.

The police are now trying to locate the glasses case they believe held the nerve agent that ended her life, it was reported, with another theory that the couple were poisoned from a cigarette butt since abandoned.
