Marchon has partnered with Eastman specialty material company
Marchon has partnered with Eastman specialty material company to create eyewear made with sustainable Acetate Renew material that will launch in 2021.
Acetate scrap from Marchon’s manufacturing processes will be diverted from landfill and put through Eastman’s carbon renewal process to produce a new sustainable material.
Nicola Zotta, president and CEO of Marchon, said: ‘As the first eyewear manufacturer to collaborate with Eastman, this relationship will be beneficial for us because it will significantly reduce waste and greenhouse gas emissions, while maintaining our commitment to safety and sustainability without compromising the quality of our frames.’
