Between 3,000 and 4,000 high-end frames have been stolen from a supplier in Liverpool.
Independent sales agent Richard Karp awoke on Monday morning to discover his garage broken into and the theft of thousands of his frames.
The frames had been locked within one of 18 identical garages, leading Karp to think the robbery was pre-planned. ‘It was definitely a professional job,’ he said.
Some of the stolen brands included Marius Morel, Litec, Koalore, Nomad, Oga, Zuma, Max Eyewear, Volteface, he said.
Neighbours reported hearing some commotion but there was a lack of strong leads.
