Transitioning to mirrors

Essilor has expanded its adaptive lens collection with a choice of coloured mirrors.

Transitions style mirrors change to a mirrored finish when exposed to UV light and are available in silver, blue, gold and green. The company claims market research shows that once a consumer has bought Transition lenses, ‘customer satisfaction is so high that they repeat purchase’.

The lenses will be available in the UK from next month and are supported by promotional materials such as a leaflet, magazine, posters and an in-store video. Complementing this, Essilor has started a national media campaign that includes TV advertisement.
