Vision Care for Homeless People makes fresh appeal for volunteers

Vision Care for Homeless People (VCHP) has made a fresh appeal for Crisis at Christmas volunteers at its clinics during the festive period.

The charity planned to provide the service from December 23-28, during which time hundreds of the homeless will be screened.

VCHP volunteer operations manager James Quayle said: ‘The comprehensive Crisis service is a wonderful way to see all the healthcare services coming together including dentistry, GP, nursing and optometry to provide a very comprehensive service, with everyone working together.’

Volunteers can register at www.crisis.org.uk/get-involved/volunteer/crisis-at-christmas.
