Vision Care for Homeless People (VCHP) has been named as one of 10 winners of the 2020 GSK Impact Awards.

The charity has been awarded £30,000 in recognition of its work to improve health and wellbeing in communities across the UK.

David Brown, general manager of VCHP, said: ‘This really highlights the brilliant work of all our dedicated volunteers who faithfully run the clinics and helps call attention to the need for eye care services that reach out to homeless and vulnerable people. As well as the very valuable funding, the charity will receive expert support and leadership development provided by the King’s Fund.’
