Virtual showroom launched by Essilor

The company said it said displays a first-class optical practice

Essilor has created a virtual showroom to offer practices what it said was an insight into innovation and differentiation to provide patients with better service and clinical care.

The company has invited ECPs to take a guided tour of the digital store and view demonstrations of how to future proof with new technologies.

Tim Precious, managing director at Essilor Ltd, said: “The virtual centre brings to life what we offer to help ECPs provide the finest consumer experience and safest visual offering possible.’

He added that the pandemic has impacted the profession and growth was likely to remain unpredictable until consumer confidence stabilised.

‘There are many ways we can work together to build this confidence and the virtual show room provides ways to embrace change by offering socially distanced eye examinations and screenings to reassure patients when anxiety levels are at an all-time high,’ Precious said.
