Vision Care for Homeless People is calling on practitioners to help out at its London-based clinics until the end of the year.

Set up three years ago by optometrist Harinder Paul, the organisation has examined the eyes of 1,200 homeless people and is pending formal registration with the Charity Commission.

Paul is seeking optometrists, dispensers, students and optical assistants to assist in the running of weekly walk-in clinics for homeless people at the London headquarters of Crisis, the charity that helps homeless people. If you can help, call 07792 960416.
