Charity organisation to host a dinner in aid of the homeless
Charity organisation Vision Care will host a dinner in aid of the homeless on November 23.
The fundraising dinner will be held at prestigious Mayfair venue the Lansdowne Club, with tickets priced at £100.
Proceeds from the event will help fund the charity’s important work in providing eye examinations and glasses for the dispossessed.
Elaine Styles, chair of the charity, explained: ‘Sadly there is a growing problem with homelessness in the UK and we are in a strong position to do something about the visual needs of this vulnerable group of people [and] we feel this dinner is a new way to raise awareness with potential patrons.’
