British luxury eyewear brand releases new collection of frames

British luxury eyewear brand Walter & Herbert has released a new collection of ophthalmic frames.

Named after historic English icons such as Margot Fonteyn, Alfred Hitchcock and John Keats, designs in the new collection are available in three to four colours and are inspired by many of the early NHS frames from their company archives – drawing direct influence from the colours and shapes of 1940s.

Pictured from the new collection is the Aiken frame for women. The bold Clubmaster inspired silhouette has been sculpted for femininity and the lower metal rim has been laser etched with filigree-style patterns for a subtle finishing touch.
