Contact lens supplier Wesley Jessen has claimed an industry first with the introduction of a wet- moulded disposable soft toric lens.
Called FreshLook Toric, the new lens is claimed to be the first to offer durable lens performance for stability and reproducibility. On Tuesday (January 12) the company began a 10-venue month-long roadshow to explain to practitioners the advantages of this and its OptiFit Continuum scheme, and how they could improve 'practice success'. The roadshows, ending in Belfast on February 10, include a generic lecture on torics from professional services manager Ron Loveridge.
