Barcelona-based designer Xavier Garcia has released six new styles as part of the Steel Block collection.
Made from a 1.8mm steel block, the designer said frames in the collection had overcome the inherent hardness of the material by using layering and grooves mixed with minimal volume.
Isona is an understated women’s style with a teardrop profile inspired by frames of the 1970s. Soft pastel colouration of mint and pink contrasts nicely with glossy metallic hues of gold, while a tonal black option takes on a harder appearance.
Gents model Lacruz is also retro in appearance, with its aviator-inspired silhouette. Also mixing matte and gloss finishes, the frame features a modern looking double nose bridge in contrasting colours
