‘Throughout my time at Boots Opticians, I’ve always felt well-supported. As an optometrist, it’s easy to get comfortable in the testing room. ‘The first time I moved stores, I remember being so overwhelmed at the idea of working in a different team, with different patients, in a new location. The process of relocating within Boots Opticians has always been straightforward, and the
support from management has been great with clear communication every step of the way.’

‘I love talking to people—anyone who knows me will tell you that! I enjoy meeting patients from all walks of life and helping them see the world at their full potential. It’s incredibly rewarding. Another aspect I find very fulfilling is training new optical consultants and supervising pre-registration optometrists.
‘Supporting future optometrists through their final stages of qualification has been a major focus for me in recent years. It’s a privilege to help them develop and guide them on their journey to becoming fully qualified.’
