Optical Express teams up with TearScience to roll out a new phase of events

Following pilot national CET sessions earlier this year, Optical Express has teamed up with TearScience to roll out a new phase of events on Meibomian gland disease in its practices.
Geraldine Meade, professional development director at Optical Express, said: ‘Our aim is to support and develop the optical community through sharing our vast experience and educating them on treatments such as Lipiflow which may not be available in other practices.’
Two hundred opticians, optometrists and ophthalmologists working for multiples, independent practices and the NHS attended the initial courses, introduced as part of the company’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
