Inferior macular cross sections..
Identify the changes within the OCT image?
1. Hypo reflective voids in the inner nuclear layer and the outer nuclear layer, consistent with cystic oedema, this extends temporally.
2. Thickening of the retinal nerve fibre and ganglion cell layers, with increased reflectivity, extending from the fovea to the temporal retina.
3. Shadowing of the outer retina.
4. Sub retinal fluid.
5. Retinal thickening.
6. Partial posterior vitreous detachment (PVD).
Assess the follow OCT images of the same patient and identify the changes demonstrated within?
Inferior macular cross sections.

Superior macular cross section.
