What a weekend was had in Birmingham.
The three days of Optrafair once again created a rallying point for the optics while the Optician Awards recognised and rewarded the best of the optical professions and industry.
Everyone had their own reason for travelling to the National Exhibition Centre. It may have been to visit Optrafair to peruse and purchase the latest products and services on offer. Everything from frames, lenses, equipment to cases, accessories and contact lenses was on show.
It may have been the full educational programme – lectures, peer review sessions and workshops plus learning from ABDO, the GOC, OCCS and the BCLA.
