February results improved on January, but still lagged results for 2007 in the main. New contact lens fits rose by 5 per cent from last February. However, the effect was a general decline for most benchmarks. The exception was practice turnover which showed an increase of 4.3 per cent over the year. Likewise turnover per eye examination continued to show growth over the period.
