Eyes on the prize

As a national university ‘eyeball’ sponsor, Louis Stone Optical has had a busy couple of months. Over £2,000 worth of prizes were donated to balls held at Cardiff, City, Bradford, Ulster, Plymouth, Manchester and Glasgow Caledonian universities – along with the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT).

Retinoscopy racks, prism bars, flippers and bracelets were among the prizes donated to the student balls.

‘This event would not have happened without the support of optical companies such as Louis Stone,’ said Plymouth Optometric Society (OpSoc) president and second year student, Amara Khan.
