
‘I’ve only ever had one interview – it’s a rather boring CV,’ says Duncan and Todd managing director Frances Rus, who has worked for the Scottish group of opticians since the 1980s. But what her CV may lack in employer names, it makes up for with a breadth of experience at every level within the company.
When it comes to matters of Duncan and Todd, Rus has seen and experienced it all. She joined the company in 1984 as a trainee dispensing optician, before moving into several different roles within the company, including a spell as a regional manager that would create a new link between head office and the various branches around the country.
