The Functional Vision Assessment Pack which has been recently added to the Look Up website - www.lookupinfo.org - a site providing information on eye care and vision for people with learning disabilities and eye care professionals. The pack is aimed at enabling the families and carers of people with learning disability and potentially other disabilities to determine if the person may have any problems with their vision and thus seek appropriate professional care. It must be stressed that this tool is not intended to replace a sight test but to encourage carers and families to seek professional advice on potential sight problems which may have been overlooked.
