All registrants
Go to the GOC website (www.optical.org) and make sure you are registered. Sign in to the 'myGOC' link and click on the 'myCET' link. You will need to do this more regularly than under the previous scheme as you are required to gain your 36 points (54 if a therapeutic specialist optometrist) at a minimum rate of six points per year. The site will flag up whether you have reached your annual requirement as well as whether you have undertaken CET in all the competencies. You will need to offer feedback to verify your points and also, for peer review CET, complete a reflective statement outlining what you have gained from any particular event.
