This expansion has accelerated as the variety of myopia treatment options have increased across contact lens and ophthalmic lens markets. It has also been driven by more conversations about the importance of managing myopia to reduce the risk of related eye diseases later in life.
Given the greater financial and marketing clout of the multiples, public discussion about myopia could shift up a gear and create increased awareness of myopia and the services available on the high street.
