
It was an unusual end to an unforgettable year as a new tier with enhanced restrictions was introduced just before Christmas. Plans were scuppered and the UK’s festive fate was met with a sigh of acceptance rather than the fear and anxiety first felt in March 2020.
As 2021 started with greater limitations imposed as a result of another lockdown, the world waits a little longer to move on from Covid-19.
In healthcare, the rollout of vaccinations has started and hope has been created for all, including those in the optical profession. Optician decided to gain some insight from the industry as the profession looks ahead, while not forgetting the effects of the recent past.
