Optician Awards: True community integration

Barnham Opticians in Bognor Regis not only won the Optical Assistant Team of the Year award at the Optician Awards 2021, it was also shortlisted in the Independent Practice of the Year category. Tony Corbett, co-owner and finance and marketing manager, and his colleagues joined 500 other guests at the Grosvenor Hotel in London last December for the ceremony. ‘We were really shocked to win as you never know,’ says Corbett. ‘We really loved the awards night and it was such a great experience.’ Judges described the practice as having a ‘brilliant overall approach with a sense of true integration within its community’.
