Big mountains, big gears and big emotions were the order of the day at the third and final training camp for the Oakley Transitions Ironman Team. Chris Bennett reports

For five short days the team, made up of opticians from around Europe and one from South Africa, left their consulting rooms and practices behind, donned their cycling shorts and headed for France. In September, the team will take part in the Monaco Ironman 70.3, a triathlon that will see the team swim 1.9km in the sea, cycle 90km through the Provence mountains and then return to the principality to complete a half marathon around the famous Formula 1 circuit.
