Specsavers

Specsavers is a partnership of almost 1,000 locally-owned optical, audiology and domiciliary businesses in the UK. Doug and Dame Mary Perkins opened the first stores in Bristol in 1984 and more outlets continue to open across the country, including the recent opening in Rustington of the 42nd store to start trading within Sainsbury’s.

Specsavers is also investing in the national rollout of OCTs to all its stores, supported by extensive training and mentoring, and will shortly reach the of 400 store milestone.

So far this year Specsavers has welcomed more than 2,000 optometrists, contact lens opticians and dispensing opticians to its regional miniPAC roadshows and it has also delivered three days of free CET on its stands at Optrafair and 100% Optical.
