Safilens has developed Fusion 1-day Astigma with a new, simple and effective toric lens design, with minimum decentration between surfaces and inner toricity. The Astigma lens (as with all contact lenses in the Fusion range) features a smooth surface with natural, quick and constant stabilisation, and benefits from the company’s Fusion technology. This technology utilises the synergistic actions of hyaluronic acid and TSP (tamarind seed polysaccharide) to normalise and keeps the physiological relation between tear film and ocular surface stable. Practically this offers wearers more natural, longer-lasting comfort than ever before, Safilens explained.

Saphir RX is a uniquely designed soft custom-made contact lens with a first-class UV filter to protect the eye.
Saphir RX is available in different geometries including toric and multifocal toric. It is a silicone hydrogel lens, featuring a comfortable 75% high water content and a low dehydration material with a highly lubricious surface (CoF = 0.09). To meet patient needs Biotrue ONEday for Astigmatism now has 2,460 parameters; more than any other toric daily disposable lens and an increase of 61% since October 2019, B+L said. The lens provides consistently clear and stable vision through a blink-inspired, prism-free, evolved peri-ballast design with spherical aberration control in both axes for sharp vision and a reduction in halos and glare. The lens also benefits from minimal rotation and is easy to fit. Bausch + Lomb says that ECPs have reported 97% patients had rotation of 10° or less at dispensing.
