The Foresight Project Report, published in March 2016, is an interesting and informative read. The fact that it is almost 200 pages long is testament to the thoroughness of the report, and should not dissuade you from some bedtime reading, because it is a good summary of issues within the current UK optical market and gives many views on what may happen over the coming years. Not reading it may severely damage the future prospects of your optical career or business.

Hindsight tends to be very accurate, 6/6 in optical terms, while looking into the future may give a less clear picture. The report raises many issues and time will tell how accurate a picture of the future is painted by the report, 6/6 or 6/60?
