Year-end performance review

The end of the calendar year presents an opportunity to review the key performance indicators over the last 12 months and see how they compare with the previous year, along with our monthly analysis. This also completes our first year of the change in the Index sample to only include independent practices, but it should be noted that, after adjustment, year-on-year comparison for the Indexed figures are still relevant. Based on the evidence of the last year it appears we have reached a state of equilibrium where the independent opticians are in the process of adapting their business models and establishing sustainable revenue streams.
