Behavioural optometrists celebrated a quarter century of the BABO (British Association of Behavioural Optometrists) association at its AGM in Westminster, London, on September 18 and 19.
The two-day event featured an exhibition area and full programme of lectures, including Professor Richard Bruenech from Buskerud University College in Norway and Dr Robin Lewis, chairman of the Optometric Extension Program Foundation in America. The lectures looked at a variety of subjects including accommodative norms and testing, facial recognition difficulties and the use of Shaw lenses in reducing the effects of aniseikonia.
