A week of news - that last minute CET rush

Christmas 2012 was always going to be a frantic one in optics. With the end of the current CET cycle reaching a conclusion this month and changes afoot for next year, some practitioners will be scrambling around trying to squeeze in as much education as possible before advent is up.

Providers, meanwhile, have been laying on bumper events in the past few months. Having been out to a number of these events, including Vision Arena and the Coopervision roadshow, I can testify there is a real appetite for quality learning in desirable venues.

This is just as well, given the forthcoming cycle demands 50 per cent of points are gained through interactive learning, including webinars and online discussion.
